Movie View (Movie Info Panel)

When you double-click the thumbnail of a movie listing from List View, a Movie Info panel (see sample screen below) of the same listing will come up replacing the List Window interface. This is the Movie View of a gallery list. It is an alternative way for browsing of gallery contents. You can navigate through the gallery list by clicking NEXT or PREVIOUS buttons to advance or back-step the list one movie at a time. On each movie panel it displays a postcard picture of the movie and a short description of what it is about. The Movie View is designed to highlight thematic contents of individual movie instead of browsing oversight. The panel not only provides more information about individual movie but also offers connectivity for a wider range of social network capability. See it as a launch pad or gateway to what are yet to happen. Switching back to List View is easy, simply press the CLOSE button to return to the List Window UI. You have the best of both worlds!

 

Movie Postcard Plate
This is to display a postcard picture of the movie. The picture is usually of the first frame of the first scene of the movie. Regardless whether there is an actual picture displayed in this plate, clicking on the plate will start the download of the respective movie. This "plate" button works just like a "thumbnail" button in the List View.

Movie Title Link
The displayed movie TITLE (e.g., GITS) doubles as an URL link corresponding to the Web Link that the author specified at the time of posting. Clicking on it will take you to a web site or blog site movie author designated.

Movie Author Link
The displayed AUTHOR name (e.g., Ghost) doubles as an email link of respective movie author. This 'name' button works just like an Email Author button in List View. Clicking on it will take you to the Program's email client where you can compose a message for respective author. Note that the actual email address of the author is invisible to sender, only the displayed author name. But rest assure the mail will be sent to the intended recipient (e.g., Ghost). This is a privacy measure for all authors.

Movie Synopsis
This is the short description of the movie provided by the movie author at the time of posting.

Viewer Rating
This is the voting statistic provided by viewers through VOTE interface. The 5 clapboard denotes the highest rating and 1 clapboard denotes the lowest rating.

 

Web Connectivity & Beyond
VOTE	A statistics compiler for user to rate gallery movie by the built-in voting mechanism. (*This feature is currently unavailable*)
EMAIL FRIEND	This button allows user to spread the words for current listing by giving him/her immediate access to the internal email client.
COMMENT	Providing an immediate way for user feedbacks or comments. This button can be linked to a dedicated forum app or an author specified blog site. (*This feature is currently unavailable*)
SUBSCRIBE	This is to provide a way for user to subscribe to current movie. Subscribtion allows user to be notified when any change is made to current movie. (*This feature is currently unavailable*)
PUBLISH	This utility will generate a web page embed code of the current movie for people to publish it online through an all-in-on light weight web application. (*This feature is currently unavailable*)
