Manage And Connect
Gallery Management
You can manage your movie from the Gallery after it is posted. You can either modify or remove your post from the gallery. In both cases you need the movie's administrative ID to establish your privilege. To modify a gallery post you need to do it from Post Movie UI. You do it by posting a new movie of the same name overwriting the old one. To remove a gallery post, on the other hand you are to do it from the Listing Mode.
On every movie listing there is a Delete button for you to remove it from the Gallery. When you click the Delete button, an alert screen
will come up asking for a positive ID for administrative privilege.
If you are the one with proper privilege, enter your ID (your
e-mail + the movie password) in the appropriate fields and
press "REMOVE" button. If your ID is authenticated positively,
the selected movie will be removed permanently from the Gallery. You'll
see the list empties the selected item and the Timeline
turns blank. If the authentication fails, the removal request will
be denied and nothing will happen to the selected Gallery movie.
Connectivity and Privacy

Built-in E-mail Utility
Gallery has an e-mail utility built-in for you to communicate
with other users. You can access this email UI both from Listing mode and from Posting mode. In Posting mode, the EMAIL button is on the last screen of Post Movie process (MOVIE POSTED). See Notify Friends for detail.
In Listing Mode, you can contact movie author from the listing strip or from Movie Info panel. On listing strip use the envolope shape EMAIL button, and on Movie Info panel click on author's Name. In both case an EMAIL AUTHOR screen (like the sample above) will come up for you to send respective author email. Note
that you don't see the actual e-mail address but the author's name
appeared in the MAIL TO field. This is not a problem for
mailing. The author's e-mail address is purposely being "masked"
for privacy concern. Your
message will get to the correct recipient.
You can also send message
to people you know (of their email address) from Listing Mode. Fot this you should use EMAIL FRIEND button on Movie Info Panel. That button will bring up an email interface like you get from Posting Mode.
Gallery
is a great place for people to reachout, connect and exchange both for work and socialization. Use it wisely and courteously.
E-mail Aliasing
In Listing Mode, author's
e-mail address is deliberately "concealed" from viewer
at all time. When someones send you email from the Gallery, they won't see your actual e-mail
address in MAIL TO field or anywhere else, they see only your "author name" (which can be of any nickname
of your choice). This however does not affect your ability to receive feedback from viewers. Because your e-mail
address is already embedded with your "author name" at the time of your posting. So that people can send you email, message will reach you. But they can never spam you. With this handy email aliasing feature in mind, we encourage users to post movie with their real email address. Afterall feedback is an important aspect of communal experience.
