License Management

You use Options' License panel to manage your Comixware's license. There are 2 aspects in license management: KEY Registration and KEY Transfer.

 

 

KEY Registration

Your contact e-mail address is used to register your Comixware license in connection with a software KEY. You need both validated to run your copy of Comixware. This registered ID and KEY is displayed under Registration in License panel (see screen sample above). If you use a new e-mail address in association with Comixware you should update your KEY accordingly. Simply go to License Panel and click PROCEED button to make the change. This is especially important when you buy an add-on with a different e-mail ID in a later time. In such case, if you didn't update your registration accordingly your new purchase(s) will not show up in the Upgrade list and therefore not be available for installation.

KEY Transfer

You can also transfer your Comixware license from one machine to another. First unlock the license from the machine you want to release your license of. Then install the software to a machine you want your license to be transfered to. Initiate Comixware from this second machine with your registered User ID and software KEY. Once they are authenticated your license is transfered.
