Frame Counter

This is the oval shape Frame Number display on the upper frame of Compose Window. It consists of 2 fields: the left one displays the CURRENT frame number of the scene, and the right one displays the TOTAL frame number of the scene. This Counter works both as a reference tool for compose operation and as a definition device for Scene Length control. Note that both numbers (current frame and total frame) are user selectable and definable.

Reference Tool

Working in conjunction with Frame Slider and In/Out marks, the Current Frame counter is to reflect the current frame position or In/Out mark in relationship to the total frame space of a scene. So that user can use it to reference his/her composition accordingly. You can select and replace the CURRENT frame number with a designated number (within the current scene length) to take you to that specific frame instantly.

Definition Device

When working with Scene Length control, the Total Frame counter functions as a length definition tool. To modify a scene to a new length, simply select the number in this field and replace it with a new number (any number larger than one). Once the new (Total Frame) number is 'concretized' by the Enter key, the length of the scene is changed accordingly. Read more about this function in Scene Length control.
