Scene Counter
This Counter locates on the top left of the Timeline Strip (next to the 'clapboard' icon). It comprises of 2 fields: the CURRENT scene counter field (on the left) and the TOTAL scene counter fields (on the right). The CURRENT
scene counter shows the scene number that is currently being selected or played in the Timeline.
The TOTAL scene counter displays the total length of a timeline
(movie) in terms of scenes. During movie playback the CURRENT counter will continuously
update itself with current playhead position (scene) in respective timeline (movie).
Movie Title
This is the window where the title of the current movie is displayed.
Reel Counter (film

In Comixware a "reel" is comprised of 50 scenes. For instance
the first reel contains scene 1 to scene 50, the second reel contains
scene 51 to scene 100, and the third contains 101 to 150, so on
and so forth. The Reel Counter is located at the center on top of the Timeline strip. The Reel Counter
works in conjunction with the Reel
Skipper control. Each click on the Skipper button will
advance or back step the Counter by 50 scenes.
Sound Button
This is a sound 'symbol' representing the soundtrack association
of the current movie. It is also a trigger 'button' for bringing
up the Sound Asset
Panel. It is located at the top right of the Timeline
strip.
- Double click Sound
button will open the Sound Asset Panel for soundtrack selection and adjustment.
- When there is a soundtrack associated with current movie, the Sound symbol is in purplish blue color. When there is no soundtrack association the button is in gray color.
- When the Timeline is static, a single click on this sound button
will preview the soundtrack selection of the current movie.
Scene Numbers
These are individual scene markers of the Timeline strip. They are located in the lower sprocket
strip of the Timeline. Each number denotes the order of respective
scene in relationship to the Timeline (movie).
